A recreational motorcyclist had his dream ride along the Pacific Coast Highway of California violently interrupted by a criminal act of negligence on the part of a thoughtless and now criminal driver. The accident was reported to have happened about 3:25 p.m. along the scenic Pacific Coast Highway and the intersection of the Sycamore Canyon Road according to a report made public by the Ventura County Fire Department. Sketchy reports claim that the motorcyclist was cut off by an unknown vehicle which caused the crash. All lanes of the Pacific Coast Highway were blocked in order to land the emergency helicopter that loaded the cyclist aboard and flew him to Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks. The injuries to the cyclist were unknown at the time of the accident. An accident that would only cause slight harm to a car or truck often results in fatal injuries to a motorcyclist. Many older drivers who suffer from poor vision should be extremely cautious whenever in traffic with motorcyclists whose lives may be in their hands.
