Two people died and two others got severely injured after when a driver failed to follow traffic rules and stop at an intersection in Raisin City, CA. According to California Highway Patrol Sgt. Manuel Peregina, emergency responders and police officers reported to the scene at around 5:52 pm.

Investigations revealed that a gray Pontiac Grand Am was hit by a blue Chevy S-10 pickup that was travelling west on Lincoln Avenue. The accident occurred on the area around Henderson Road and Lincoln Avenue. Passengers in the pickup belonged to one family but were not injured and one member of the family, a small child was taken to hospital for a quick and precautionary checkup.
