SUV and Construction Vehicle Collide on Avenue 52 in Indio Sending One To Hospital
One Injured in Indio Two-Vehicle Collision on Avenue 52 near Jackson Street
Indio, California (February 13, 2017) – One driver was injured early Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash in Indio, according to a local news source.
The accident occurred at around 5.45 a.m. Friday, Feb 10 when a Nissan SUV rear-ended a slow moving construction vehicle on Avenue 52 west of Jackson Street.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rescued the Nissan driver. The driver was then taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries. The person operating the construction vehicle was not harmed.
The police closed the roadway for about 2 hours as investigation and clearing operations were underway.
The authorities are investigating the matter to determine cause and liability.
