Man Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Crash near Colombia and West Hawthorne Street

San Diego, California (February 16, 2017) – A 27-year-old male pedestrian was injured Wednesday morning after he was hit by a car in San Diego.

The incident occurred at about 3.30 a.m. at the intersection of Columbia and West Hawthorne Streets in Little Italy.

A Mercedes-Benz was heading to the intersection on a green light when the man entered into the vehicle’s path. The man suffered a fractured leg as a result of the accident, but the injury was not considered as life-threatening.
