Dallas, Texas (May 8, 2017) – A young Dallas couple were killed early Sunday morning in a deadly DUI crash in Dallas, according to report.

The incident took place at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning at the intersection of Frankford Road and Dallas North Tollway.

Promise Hamilton, 23, and her boyfriend Luis Solano, 26, were traveling north on Dallas North Tollway and were turning into Frankford Road when a suspected drunk driver blew a red light and struck their car. The suspect was heading east on Frankford at a high rate of speed.

Reportedly, the impact caused the victims’ vehicle to crash into a pole.  Hamilton and Solano were pronounced dead at the scene.  The couple was en route to DFW International airport for a trip to France when they were tragically killed in the crash.

The DUI suspect was taken to a hospital in critical condition.  Reports indicate that the suspect has already been charged with two counts of DWI manslaughter.

The incident remains under investigation.
