Fresno, California (February 15, 2017) – Five people were hospitalized Tuesday morning after three cars collided in Central Fresno, according to a police report.

The accident took at the intersection of First Street and Olive Avenue Tuesday morning.

According to the report, two vehicles collided near the intersection causing both cars to veer and hit a third vehicle.

Five people were injured in the crash. All patients were hospitalized some with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

One of the drivers stayed at the scene after the collision and cooperated with the police. The driver was not injured in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but the police believe that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
