Apple Valley, CA: Woman, 18, Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Kiowa and Rancherias Roads

Apple Valley, California (February 27, 2017) – An in-year-old woman was seriously injured after being hit by a motorist as she was attempting to move a cat out of the road in Apple Valley, as per On Scene TV.

The crash occurred at around 10.45 p.m. at Kiowa and Rancherias Roads.

Police said that the woman was struck and seriously injured while trying to get a cat out of the road. As per the report, the teen was a passenger in a vehicle driven by her mother. Their vehicle hit a cat and the daughter got out to remove the cat. Unfortunately, she was struck by a passing Nissan Altima. Medics arrived and took the woman to a local hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators
