There was a wrongful death according to patrols in California on March 4th, 2016 involving a car and a motorcycle near Highway 18 near Panorama Point. It was shortly after 11:30 am on the fourth of March when the accident happened.
The Motorcyclist was traveling south and somehow drifted into the opposite lane headed north, where the car was traveling in the lane. The crash prompted officers to issue an alert and closing the road until about an hour later at 12:30. They opened it into a single lane later after everything was cleared from the accident. The accident left the motorcycle on fire, and subsequently, the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene. The name of the motorcyclist that was pronounced dead at the scene was not released.
The crash is still under investigation and it is not known whether drugs or alcohol could have been factors in this accident. It is also not known whether the car and the driver is okay since it is still under investigation.
