Highway 84, near the Williams Ranch Road, was closed for 3 hours on Saturday, April 16. A motorcyclist lost control of his BMW during a turn and collided with a car. The collision was head on. The collisions happened around 1:30 in the afternoon. The weather was reportedly clear and sunny.

The driver of the BMW motorcycle was Pedro Naranjo Jr. Naranjo was 26 years old and was a resident of the local town, Tracy. Naranjo was traveling east bound on Highway 84 and was attempting to make a turn onto Williams Ranch Road. While making the turn, Naranjo fell with his motorcycle and, he and the bike, slid over the yellow line on the road and into oncoming traffic.

When Pedro Naranjo slid across the yellow lines, a Kia, traveling in the opposite direction, hit him head on. The driver was 92 years old and only sustained minor injuries. The other passengers in the Kia were not injured. The police tested the various parties and found the no drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident. The police are also still interested in hearing from any witnesses who may have seen anything prior to or during the actual accident that took place on Saturday, April 16.
