It was unfortunate that a worker lost his life after he was crushed to death in a crane accident at the West Hollywood Construction site in the State of California in the United States of America. The news of this devastating occurrence left many residents of the area in shock and saddened by the agonizing death of the man that lost his life.
The devastating report about the death of the worker in West Hollywood area on the 22nd March 2016 was reported by the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s department. The unfortunate accident that led to the loss of life is reported to have happened at around 4 in the afternoon near the intersection of Sunset and La Cienega Boulevards. This information was given out by the supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department who also expressed his sadness over the unfortunate incident that led to the loss of life.
Lt. Vance Duffy described the incident as an industrial accident and stated that the worker was crushed in between the crane and a trailer. He further stated that those who were at the scene of the accident rushed the injured worker to the hospital which tried their best to treat the worker but he was unfortunately pronounced dead after some time. Officials from Division of Occupational Safety and Health immediately responded to the incident and launched investigations.
