On Thursday March 31st at about 7:30 P.M., a fatal vehicular accident occurred between Foothills Blvd. and Washington Blvd. in Roseville, CA. The wreck involved two cars and five people. The results of the accident were one death and one injury. Investigators are reporting that a female in her thirties was driving a Ford Mustang and made a U-turn eastbound at Blue Oaks Blvd. When she made the U-turn, her vehicle was struck by a F-150.
The Mustang driver died at the scene of the wreck. The F-150 was holding one driver and three passengers. One of the passengers, an eight-year-old child, was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center to receive further medical attention. Authorities temporarily closed the site of the wreck to conduct further investigations. The area was closed until approximately 2:30 A.M. While the the road was shut-down, the message for drivers to avoid the area was relayed by the local news station. Currently no information has been released in relation to which vehicle was responsible for the accident. The Roseville Police Department was responsible for all investigations and road closure decisions.
