A single big rig crash is deadly enough. People dread driving with a big rig adjacent because one wrong move could put them in danger. With a big rig crash, a vehicle could be crushed and there be fatalities. But when there is a series of big rig crashes, the results are terrifying and deadly. Two people are dead as a result of the accidents.
They occurred about an hour apart. The first was a little before 2 in the morning. It involved three semis. After the incident, a charred trailer had to be moved out of the roadway. The first victim was named Joshua Taylor, who was from Glendale, Arizona.
The third crash was later in the morning, a little before 9. It occurred when a truck was nearly flipped over after being run off of Eagle Mountain Road. The driver had major injuries and was brought to the local hospital. Unfortunately, there was a male passenger who was resting in the sleeping area of the big rig. He succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. This man was Randall McFall.
The Highway patrol is unsure about the cause of the third accident. They do not know if alcohol or drugs were involved, but it is a question that is open for investigation.
