Motorcyclist, Miguel Bethune, 40 years old, died from fatal injuries, as a result of a head-on motorcycle collision in Riverside.

According to the California Highway Patrol officers, Bethune was traveling about on Cajalco Road, driving eastbound when he swerved into the westbound lane. Witnesses recalled Bethune weaving back and forth through heavy traffic, trying to veer through the lanes, and easing over the double yellow lines.

The 40 year-old motorcyclists collided with a Ford Flex, ejecting him from his 2001 Indian motorcycle. The compact car, driven by a Riverside woman, was traveling about 30 mph. She said she had no time to maneuver away from the impact, and the motorcycle came directly in front of her.

The impact of the crash caused Bethune to be ejected from his bike and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
