Motorcyclist crashed in Visalia Sunday.

FRESNO, Calif. – A 33-year old motorcyclist collided with a vehicle in East Visalia on Sunday.
The collision occurred Sunday, February 21 at 6:48 p.m. at the corner of Pinkham Street and Walnut Avenue. Kevin Jepson, the driver of the motorcycle, road on Walnut Avenue eastbound when he crashed into Alfonso Alvarez, 29 years old, who was riding on Pinkham Street northbound.
Firefighters from the Visalia Fire Department determined the 33-year old Visalia resident, Jepson sustained internal injuries, according to Visalia Fire Battalion Chief Dustin Hall.
The ambulance transported the motorcycle driver to Kaweah Delta Medical Center. The hospital listed Jepson in critical condition.
Doctors checked out Alvarez at Kaweah Delta Medical Center, and was later released with minor injuries.
The motorcycle driver was driving a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle when he collided into Alvarez’s vehicle. Alvarez drove a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant the day of the accident.
Currently, the Visalia Police Department are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. No further information is available.
