1 Killed and 2 Critically Injured in Head-On Crash in Hesperia
Hesperia, California (April 26, 2018) – One person was killed and two others injured in a traffic collision at an intersection in Hesperia on Wednesday night.
The accident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. in the area of Peach Avenue and Cherry Street.
According to a preliminary investigation report, a man was driving a Honda on Peach Avenue when for unknown reasons, his vehicle drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a Nissan carrying a woman and a juvenile.
Officials of the San Bernardino Fire Department who responded to the incident reported that the unidentified man was killed in the collision.
The woman and the child suffered major injuries in the crash and were airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
Both directions of Peach were blocked for several hours as the authorities investigated the incident.
