3 Injured in Car Crash on US Highway 101 in Goleta

Goleta, California (April 28, 2018) – According to a local news report, several people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday evening.

The collision occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on US Highway 101 near Fairview Avenue.

According to the CHP, at least three passenger vehicles and a semi-truck were involved in the collision.

One person reportedly sustained major injuries in the crash and was transported Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Two others were taken to Goleta Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The collision resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of Highway.

The authorities were working to establish the cause of the accident.
