Merced, California (April 27, 2018) – The authorities reported that a man died in Merced on Thursday morning after being hit by several vehicles.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred just after 1 a.m. on Highway 99.
California Highway Patrol Merced officers who responded to the incident found the body of a dead man on the southbound lanes of Highway 99.
The officers reported that the man died after being hit by multiple vehicles. His identity was not revealed.
The officers reported that none of the motorists stopped at the scene.
