Motorcyclist Injured in Collision on US 101 near Brokaw Road in San Jose

San Jose, California (April 27, 2018) – A motorcyclist was injured in a collision involving a pickup truck on Thursday morning in San Jose, according to a local news source.

The accident was reported just after 6 a.m. on the northbound lanes of US 101 at Brokaw Road.

According to a California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided in the area for unknown reasons.

Officials responding to the incident located a motorcycle down in the No. 4 lane of the highway. A red Mitsubishi pickup truck had pulled over on the right shoulder of the roadway.

Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the injured rider. The condition and the identity of the victim were not immediately disclosed.

An investigation to establish the cause of the motorcycle accident is ongoing.
