Four Vehicles Crash Killing One Killed on Highway 71 at Chino Avenue.
One Fatality Reported in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 71 at Chino Avenue
Chino Hills, California (February 7, 2017) – One person died following a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 71 and Chino Avenue early Monday morning.
The incident occurred at about 2.59 a.m., February 6.
A report by the CHP said that a white truck and three unknown sedans crashed on southbound Highway 71, just north of Chino Avenue.
Officers arrived at the crash scene and found two vehicles blocking the Nos. 1, 3, and 4 lanes.
Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that one person died and several others were injured in the accident.
All lanes remained closed for several hours as the police conducted investigations at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
