Fatal Fiery Semi-Truck Collision on 5 Freeway at Lambert Road
One Person Killed in 5 Freeway Fiery Semi Truck Accident in Elk Grove
Elk Grove, California (March 2, 2017) – A fiery semi-truck accident claimed the life of at least one person on Interstate 5 Freeway at Lambert Road Wednesday evening as per CHP dispatch.
The incident was reported at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 1.
According to CHP report, the semi truck collided with another car causing the truck to flip while the other car caught fire and was fully engulfed. The overturned semi also caught fire.
The authorities confirmed that at least one person was killed in the crash.
The CHP also mentioned that the truck was transporting wood at the time of the crash. A gray Honda Civic was also mentioned, but it was not clear on how it was involved in the wreck.
