Hood County, Texas (April 15, 2017) – A 19-year-old male died Thursday night after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver while skateboarding in Hood County.

The accident was reported at about 10 p.m. Thursday, April, 13 on the westbound Acton Highway.

Reportedly, Blythe Craig Baggett, 19, of Granbury was skateboarding when he was struck by a westbound vehicle on Acton Highway.

Reportedly, Baggett was located down in a ditch on the side of the road after a passing motorist noticed debris on the road.

The Granbury teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the involved driver fled the scene after the accident. There was no description of the vehicle or the driver.

The incident remains under investigation.
