4 Cars involved in Accidents After Male Pedestrian is Fatally Struck While Crossing I-45 North
Houston, TX: Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Interstate 45 Crash that Led Separate Crashes Involving Four Vehicles
Houston, Texas (April 17, 2017) – A total of four vehicles were involved in crashes after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Houston early Sunday morning, according to a police report.
Reportedly, a man was crossing the southbound lanes of I-45 near Tidwell when he was struck by a gray Hyundai.
The Hispanic man died at the accident scene. His name was not immediately released.
The Hyundai was stalled on the roadway and, shortly later a second vehicle crashed into it.
Just after the second crash. Two on-coming vehicles swerved in an attempt to avoid striking the Hyundai and the second car. In the event, the two vehicles collided instead.
The incident remains under investigation.
