Two Vehicles Collide Head-on on Lake Jennings Road in Lakeside Leaving One Driver Critically Injured
Lakeside, CA: Three Injured, One Critically, in Two-vehicle Head-on Accident on Lake Jennings Road
Lakeside, California (February 20, 2017) – Three people were injured, one critically, Saturday night after two vehicles collided head-on on a rain-slickened road in Lakeside, according to a police report.
The accident was reported at about 11:10 p.m. when a passing motorist called 911 after coming upon vehicles involve in a traffic collision.
Fire crews responded to the scene and extricated a driver from a white SUV. The driver was taken to a trauma center with critical injuries. The injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
Two other people were rescued from a crushed black sedan and were both transported to a hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
