Female Driver Injured in Two-Truck Crash on 7405 County Highway A12 in Montague
Montague, CA: Major Injury Crash 7405 County Highway A12 Near Big Springs Elementary School
Montague, California (February 9, 2017) – Major injuries were reported Wednesday afternoon following a traffic collision involving a Mail truck on 7405 County Highway A12 in Montague, according to a CHP dispatch.
At about 12:55 p.m., the California Highway Patrol dispatch center received reports of a solo-vehicle crash on Big Springs Road. Shortly later, a white pickup truck crashed into the first vehicle described as Mail truck on Big Springs Road, just south of 7405 County Highway A12 near Big Springs Elementary School.
Responding officers found the mail truck overturned with a female driver still inside. The woman was bleeding and had injuries to her wrist.
An ambulance was called to the scene to attend to the injured parties including the injured driver. The paramedics confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the accident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
