Joshua Poindexter Dies After Being Struck By Hit-and-Run Driver in Tarrant County

Tarrant County, Texas (April 19, 2017) – A 36-year-old Fort Worth man was found lying down early Sunday morning after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Tarrant County.

According to a report, Joshua Poindexter was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 9000 block of Boat Club Road around 3 a.m. Sunday, April 17

Reportedly, an Eagle Mountain emergency crew responded to the scene and initiated CPR on the victim.

Poindexter was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital where he died at about 4:02 a.m.

Investigators believe that Poindexter crashed his scooter and was struck by a dual-wheeled truck while on the road.  The driver of the truck did not stop.
