Cleburne, TX: Child, 2, Struck and critically Injured By Vehicle on Chase Avenue

Cleburne, Texas (May 16, 2017) – A two-year-old child was struck and critically injured by a vehicle Sunday morning in Cleburne, according to a police report.

The accident took place just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 14 in the 7000 block of Chase Avenue.

According to the report, the child was reportedly struck by a vehicle driven by a family member.

A helicopter ambulance responded to the scene and took the toddler to a Fort Worth hospital in critical condition.

Information regarding the manner in which the accident occurred and the name of the child was not immediately available.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
