Denton, TX: Two Killed in East University Drive Crash With Another Driver
Denton, Texas (May 2, 2017) – Two people died Sunday night following a head-on traffic collision in Denton, according to a report.
The accident took place at about 8:25 p.m. in the 3100 block of East University Drive, just west of Loop 288.
According to a report, a GMC Yukon was traveling eastbound on East University Drive when, for an unknown reason, it crossed over the center median and crashed head-on into a Nissan Versa traveling west.
Two people in the Nissan Versa were killed in the accident. Their names were not released
The driver of the Yukon was taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
