San Antonio, Texas (May 1, 2017) – A woman died Monday afternoon after colliding with an 18-wheeler in San Antonio, police said.

The incident took place at about 1:30 p.m. one Interstate 35 South Access Road, just past Rittiman Road off-ramp.

Reportedly, a woman crashed her SUV into the back of an 18-wheeler.

According to the report, police responded to the scene and found a crumpled SUV pinned underneath the 18-wheeler.

According to the report, the 18-wheeler had stopped for traffic ahead. For some reason, the woman was not able to stop in time to avoid slamming into the truck.
