One Killed in Modesto Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Highway 132 and Stone Avenue
Modesto, CA: Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Highway 132 and Stone Avenue
Modesto, California (January 19, 2017) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one person was killed early Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Modesto.
The accident occurred at about 5:33 this morning at the intersection of Highway 132 and Stone Avenue.
The vehicles involved in the crash were described as a gray Ford F150 pickup truck and a Mercedes-Benz.
While the manner in which the collision occurred was not stated, at least one person was pinned inside a vehicle. Responding crews also confirmed that at least one person was killed in the accident.
The police order the closure of Highway 132 between stone and Dakota as they investigated the incident. The highway reopened at about 8:36 a.m.
The pickup truck was towed away from the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
