Vehicle Overturns After Colliding With Two Others on Highway 60 Near 605 Freeway, Injuries Reported
Whittier, CA: Injuries Sustained in Highway 60 Rollover Crash Near 605 Freeway Interchange
Whittier, California (December 29, 2016) – According to a police report, injuries were reported Tuesday morning following a three-vehicle crash that caused one of the vehicles to overturn in Whittier.
The accident took place at about 7:04 between a commercial tree truck, a Ford F150, and a Jeep on the westbound Highway 60 east of 605 Freeway, the report said.
Reportedly, one of the vehicles overturned after the crash. Debris from the incident were scattered over the eastbound lanes of Highway 60.
As per the report, officers responded to the accident scene and found a blue Chevy Tahoe on the right shoulder of the highway.
Further, the report stated that debris were scattered in the HOV lane and the first lane.
Damages and injuries were reported in the incident.
Paramedics responded to the scene to attend to the injured victims but the extent of the injuries and the number of parties injured was not indicated in the report.
Tow trucks were also dispatched to the scene to help remove the vehicles from blocking the roadway.
