Priscilla Ann Jimenez-Trejo Killed in Expressway 83 Crash in Weslaco
Weslaco, Texas (April 23, 2017) – A 42-year-old woman was killed and an 11-year-old was injured Thursday morning after they were struck by a vehicle in Weslaco.
The incident took place at about 7:25 when a vehicle struck Priscilla Ann Jimenez-Trejo and her 11-year-old son while standing on the shoulder of Expressway 83.
Reportedly, Jimenez-Trejo was initially involved in a minor collision with two vehicles. She was standing with her son on the right shoulder when a fourth vehicle struck one of the three vehicles, triggering a chain-reaction. Jimenez-Trejo was killed in the second collision and her son was pinned between two vehicles. The boy sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
