In Pasadena, California there was a two car accident, involving a Mustang and an SUV on Wednesday, March 30th.
The accident occurred at the cross of East Villa Street and Lake Avenue at
around 7 in the morning. The Mustang was driven by a 23 year old male and he
had three passengers, all male, including a 17 year old. The SUV was driven by
a 42 year old female, and she had no passengers. The police have not said exactly
why the accident occurred, though they have stated that speed was a definite
factor. The Mustang hit a traffic pole, which split the car completely in half.
The driver of the Mustang was pronounced dead on the scene and his front seat
passenger, the 17 year old, died later that day in the hospital. Luckily, the
female driver of the SUV only had to be treated for minor injuries. The
identities of the deceased men in the Mustang have not yet been released. This
accident was the cause of a large traffic interruption in the area and East
Villa Street and Lake Avenue were not reopened until shortly before 1 p.m.
