CHP Officer Hit by Car on Interstate 80 in San Francisco
San Francisco, California (April 27, 2018) – A San Francisco CHP officer was injured after being hit by a vehicle on Friday evening.
The accident occurred at an unspecified time on Interstate 80 near the Bay Bridge.
According to a local news source, the officer attempted to stop a Jeep for a routine check when the female motorist failed to yield and drove off hitting the motorcycle officer.
The officer was reportedly dragged about 1000 feet by the car.
The unidentified officer sustained minor injuries in the collision.
The woman is said to have crashed into two other vehicles.
No other injuries were reported.
The woman has since been arrested.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
