OAKLAND, California (July 21, 2016) – At least one person was injured Thursday morning following a crash between a big rig, an SUV, and a motorcycle on the southbound Interstate 880 Freeway at the 29th Avenue, according to a CHP report.
The accident occurred at 9:13 AM this morning in numbers 1 and 2 lanes. A motorcycle rider was injured in the crash. The big rig driver drove away from the scene after the crash but the SUV driver remained at the scene of crash. The suspected semi-truck was described as a gray truck with a trailer with the words “Buyright Food” written on its side.
The accident is under investigation as a hit-and-run crash.
