One Person Killed and Four Others Injured in North Houston 2-Car Crash
Houston, Texas (April 26, 2017) – One person was killed and four others were injured early Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in north Houston, according to a police report.
The incident took place at about 2:15 a.m. at the intersection of Little York and Hardy Toll Road.
According to Houston Police Department, a passenger was northbound on Hardy Toll Road service road, and a turned east onto Little York, a truck crashed into it.
A man in the truck died at the scene. Three other adults inside the truck were transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the passenger car was also transported to a hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
The police shut down the intersection for about one hour as they investigated the incident.
Police suspect that the truck driver may have run a red light at the intersection.
The incident remains under investigation.
