Christopher Koskinen Dies After being Ejected From Car in North Tarrant Parkway Head-on Crash
Christopher Koskinen, 30, Killed in Head-on Crash in North Richland Hills
North Richland Hills, Texas (April 19, 2017) – A 30-year-old man died Monday night following after colliding head-on with another vehicle in North Richland Hills, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash took place around 7 p.m. in the 8600 block of North Tarrant Parkway near Davis Boulevard.
According to the Star-Telegram, a 2-door sedan was eastbound on North Tarrant Parkway when witnesses, reportedly heard a loud pop.
The sedan flipped and rolled over the center median into the westbound traffic where it collided head-on with a minivan.
The driver of the sedan, Christopher Koskinen, was ejected from the car and died at the scene. Reportedly, the impact of the collision was so violent that the sedan was split into two.
The driver of the minivan was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As per the article, three other vehicles swerved to avoid the first crash, but no one was injured.
