Oro Grande National Trials Highway Pedestrian Crash Kills 34-year-old Alejandro Barajas
Oro Grande, California (January 26, 2017) – Alejandro Barajas, 34, of Victorville was killed Tuesday evening after he was struck by a vehicle in Oro Grande, according to the Victor Valley news.
The accident took place at about 7 p.m. on National Trails Highway, just south of Robinson Ranch Road.
According to the article, Barajas was walking on the road with a green trash can when he was struck by a red Fiat 500 driven by a 64-year-old woman also from Victorville.
As per the article, the woman was driving at about 55 mph and reportedly did not see the pedestrian due to a small rise on the roadway.
Barajas did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remained under investigation.
