Steve Willford Jr. Killed, Ruben Martinez Injured in Bryan Two-Vehicle Crash
Bryan, California (May 3, 2017) – A 21-year-old man was killed and another seriously injured early Tuesday morning after following a two-vehicle traffic collision in north Bryan, according to a police report.
The accident took place at about 1:30 a.m. on Highway 6 feeder road as its turns into Highway 190 near OSR.
According to the report, a Dodge pickup truck driven by Ruben Martinez, 58, crossed the center stripe, coming into the path of Chevy sedan driven by 21-Year-old Steve Willford Jr. and the two vehicles collided head-on.
Willford was pronounced dead at the scene. Martinez was transported to CHI St. Joseph Hospital with serious injuries.
As per the report, both lanes of the feeder road were closed down for several hours as offices investigated the incident.
The cause of the deadly crash remains under investigation.
