Pinon Hills, CA : A motorcyclist is dead after in a rollover crash that occurred on Bear Valley and Oasis roads April 13, 2016.

The police on the scene say that a motorcyclist is dead after he was involved in a rollover crash on Wednesday night. The California Highway Patrol said the rider of a 1992 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling at a very high rate of speed.

The accident occurred on Bear Valley and Oasis roads at 9:43 p.m. The rider of the motorcycle did not stop at the stop sign, went through the intersection at a high rate of speed, then went off the road after the intersection and overturned.

The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered severe head trauma. According to the California Highway Patrol, the San Bernardino Fire Department responded and tried to give CPR to the man, but ultimately he was transported to Desert Valley Hospital for additional treatment.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at around 11 pm that night in the hospital emergency room. According to the California Highway Patrol, the identity of the man was not being released until a full investigation is complete and so that next of kin can be notified.

As a result of the motorcycle accident, so other vehicles or injuries were being reported at this time.
