Michajla Bailey Kostecka, 18, Killed in Suspected DUI Crash In Santa Rosa, Driver Arrested

Santa Rosa, California (January 2, 2017) – An 18-year-old woman was killed late Sunday night when a car she was driving in crashed off the roadway into a tree in Santa Rosa, according to the Press Democrat reported.

The accident took place at about 11:00 p.m. two-door Chevrolet Cavalier driven by 19-year-old Rebecca Iris Guillory skidded off winding Mountain Hawk Drive crashing into Sycamore tree.

Guillory’s passenger Michajla Bailey Kostecka, 18, of Santa Rosa was fatally injured in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reportedly, Guillory sustained minor injuries in the crash. She was then arrested by the Santa Rosa Police on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI.

The fatal incident remains under investigation.
