Dallas, TX: One Killed After Suspected Drunk Driver Cause Crash on Lemmon Avenue at Mahanna Street

Dallas, Texas (April 25, 2017) – A suspected drunk driver was arrested following a deadly two-vehicle crash that left one person dead in Dallas early Sunday morning according to a report.

The incident took place at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, April 23 on Lemmon Avenue at Mahanna Street, near Love Field.

According to the report, Roberto Cisneros, 27, was heading north on Lemmon Avenue at a high rate of speed when he blew a red light and collided with a vehicle that was heading west on Mahanna Street.

The impact of the crash caused the vehicle that struck to rotate and hit a light pole.  The victim whose vehicle was hit by Cisneros’s car was taken to Parkland Hospital where he late died.

Cisneros reportedly walked away from the accident scene but was later found a nearby convenience store. The police determined that Cisneros was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and was subsequently arrested for intoxication assault and failure to stop and render aid.
