Houston, TX: Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Highway 6
Houston, Texas (April 12, 2017) – One person was killed Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle in west Houston, according to a Houston Police Department report.
The accident took place at about 8:35 p.m. when a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the 2800 block of Highway 6 at Richmond Avenue.
According to the report, the victim appeared to have been crossing Highway 6 at Richmond when she was struck by a car. The car was southbound on Highway 6 when it struck the pedestrian.
The driver was not suspected of driving while intoxicated.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was killed in the accident.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
