3 People Injured, 1 Critically in North Hollywood Rollover Crash on 170 Freeway

North Hollywood, California (March 17, 2017) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, three people were injured were injured, one critically after in a crash that caused one of the vehicles to overturn in North Hollywood.

The accident took place at on the southbound 170 Freeway at Magnolia Boulevard at about 7:42 a.m. today, according to the report.

Reportedly, a black SUV flipped over to its side in the middle lanes after colliding with a BMW.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, one person had to be extricated from the overturned SUV and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Two other people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident.

At about 8:30 a.m., the California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert blocking all the southbound lanes of the freeway. The CHP canceled the SigAlert at 8:57 a.m.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
