Santa Rosa, CA: One Injured in Highway 101 Chain Reaction Crash

Santa Rosa (California 24, 2017) – One person was injured a following chain reaction crash on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The accident took place just before 9 a.m. between a big rig and four vehicles in the southbound lanes of the highway near River Road exit.

According to the report, a rear-end crash turned into chain reaction crashes between three SUVs, a sedan, and a big rig.

As per the report, one person was injured in the multi-vehicle crash.  The vehicles were scattered in the center divider, a traffic lane, and the right-hand shoulder.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
