Fatal Pedestrian Crash Highway 94 and Kenwood Drive Near Spring Valley
Spring Valley, California (January 2, 2016) – According to an article by the San Diego Union-Tribune, a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning on a highway near Spring Valley.
The accident took place at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday on the eastbound State Route Highway 94 near Kenwood Drive.
The victim succumbed to their injuries at the scene before they could be taken to a hospital.
The decedent’s identity was not immediately available.
The police closed the highway as they documented the fatal incident. Alcohol and/or drugs did not appear to be factors in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
