Brandi Milliner Struck and Killed by Drunk Driver in Beaumont

Beaumont, Texas (May 16, 2017) – A 37-year-old Good Samaritan died early Saturday when she was struck by a drunk driver in Beaumont, according to a local news source.

As per the report, a black Ford Focus was involved in a crash just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13 near the 4600 block of Eastex.

Reportedly, several Good Samaritans stopped at the scene to check on the vehicle, but the driver had fled the scene.

The Good Samaritans were checking the vehicle when an F-150, driven by Patrick Grandchampt, 33, of Netherland, enter the area.

The vehicle struck one of the Good Samaritans.

The victim, identified as Brandi Milliner, was transported to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Grandchampt was arrested and has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter. He is being held in the Jefferson County Jail.
