Four people were critically injured and three others sustained minor injuries when a pickup truck rammed into a motorcycle. The accident resulted into the crash of five more motorcycles that were moving in the same direction.

The accident occurred Saturday 16th April 2016 near Irwindale Avenue according to the reports from California highway patrol officials who were the first to reach the accident site. The crash occurred at around 7pm on Saturday night in the west of the Irwindale Avenue.

Preliminary investigation stated that six motorcycles were travelling on lane one of the Westbound 210 Freeway at an average speed of 65kmph. Eye witnesses recounted that a black pickup truck that was also travelling in the same direction on the fourth lane rammed into one motorcycle resulting into a chain reaction crash involving the other motorcycles.

As a result of the crash SigAlert closed quite a number of Westbound lanes as they continued with their investigations. It is believed that the pickup truck may have intentionally rammed into the motorcycle according to ongoing investigations.
