Rancho Cucamonga, CA : 7-year-old Victorville girl was killed in a car crash on Interstate 210 Saturday, April 30, 2016

Police at the scene of the accident say that a 7-year-old Rose Robinson was killed in a crash that occurred on Interstate 210.

The car that Rose Robinson was traveling in, a 2003 Ford Focus, collided with a Toyota Camry while both cars were traveling west on I-210. The accident occurred slightly east of Milliken Avenue.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, Rose Robinson died shortly after impact with the other car.

Police reported that once the Ford Focus crashed into the Toyota Camry, the car slammed into the north freeway wall. The paramedics were quick to arrive to the scene, they rushed little Rose Robinson to Loma Linda University Medical Center, unfortunately she was pronounced dead shortly after 2pm, said the Sheriff-Coroner.

The authorities were unable to determine what caused the crash and if the young girl was wearing her seat belt at the time. After checking both vehicles, no other injuries were reported at the time. The San Bernardino California Highway Patrol are stating that no circumstances related to this accident are being released at this time.

As the investigation continues, there is no information at this time whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
