Houston, TX:  Man Killed in North Freeway 3-Car Accident near North Loop

Houston, Texas (May 2, 2017) – A man died Sunday morning following a three-car accident in Houston, according to a police report.

The accident took place at around 5 a.m. Sunday, April 30, on North Freeway at North Loop.

According to the report, a man got a flat tire while driving on North Freeway near North Loop. He got out of his car in the far right lane to change the flat tire. Another motorist driving behind him stopped to help him change the tire.

A male driver of a white truck hit the second car, pushing it forward the car forward causing the man who was changing his flat tire to be pinned.

The man was killed in the crash while his friend who had stopped to help was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
