8-Year-Old Kelsey Nalepa Dies in League City Car Accident on West Main Street

League City, Texas (April 10, 2017) – An 8-year-old girl died Saturday from injuries sustained in a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning in League City, according to a police report.
The accident took place at about 5:50 p.m. Thursday, April 6 when three vehicles collided in the 2600 block of West Main Street.
According to the report, two vehicles were stopped in the eastbound traffic lane when another vehicle struck the rear of one of the vehicles
Kelsey Nalepa was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was listed in serious condition.
Nalepa died of her injuries at about 1:32 a.m. Saturday, April 8.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
